PaoloEmilio of Rome and Baile Átha Luain, (Born 1433 ~ Present) is a Cúige Chonnacht merchant, soldier, farmer and blacksmith, born in Rome. He is a current resident in Baile Átha Luain.

How he ended up in IrelandEdit

The plague was ravaging the Italian peninsula, so he was forced to move to Orléans with his family with only 5 years of age. After the end of the Hundred Years War, he ended prisioner in London. There, he escaped and ended on a fishing ship as stowaway. A fisherman forced him to jump out of the ship and ended without conciousness. He woke up on Ireland.

His role in IrelandEdit

After he had arrived, he bought a field and grew wheat on it, then, he declared himself Chonnacht merchant. And at last, with NNGO, he enlisted and became soldier.

On 27 April 1461, PaoloEmilio joined NNGO and sat sail to attack the English, and in 4 June 1461, a battle began, in which 40 ships were involved, in a side, the English and some French ships, on the other side being the Celts' navy, upon 6 June 1461, after 2 days of battle, our fleet sank 21 English and French ships, while we lost only 9 ships. Upon our losses was Anto's ship, the Regent Slayer. Our ship, the Eviscerator, captained by Captain Zeakman of Donegal, and Aasha, mistress o' Doom, sank 3 ships. That was the violence of Bristol Bay. PaoloEmilio wrote a poem to conmemorate this battle:

I dream on a quiet lullaby, oh, missing those faraway lands, very faraway,
I think on the victory today, and see the men, that are in happiness no way...
I drank the sweetest ale,
And I will be at home to tell the tale...
Living from hard bread and cold,
The History will be told...
We were outnumbered,
But never afraid or scared...
As many ships sank,
English enemies salty water drank...
As I learnt bravery,
Englishmen had butchery...

Future violent eventsEdit

After Bristol we returned to Ireland and told the tale. My friend Tadhg_an_tsleibhe was amazed at the news. Everyone in town was. And they were also glad we came back alive, but my assistance was once again requested, as a raid was planned to the other side of the sea...
