The Kingdom of Sussex was founded in 1464 and contains the territories of Sussex, Kent, Essex and Middlesex (excluding London). The throne of Sussex is an absolute monarchy.
Upon creation of the Kingdom of Sussex, the County status of Sussex was elevated to Duchy; which includes the counties of Essex and Middlesex.
