Louis_folger set up the first Cheese Dairy in Beeston in Chester on August 28, 1457. This dairy uses cows milk to produce cow's milk cheese. With the great merger of 1459, Holywell became the only remaining Chester town to keep making cheese in the new County of Westmorland.
