The British Isles is an archipelago of islands off the coast of mainland Europe, upon which the four nations of England, Scotland, Ireland, and Sussex stand. Its largest islands are Great Britain (Kingdom of England, Kingdom of Scotland, Country of Sussex, by far the largest), Ireland, Lewis, Skye, Shetland Mainland, Mull, Anglesey, Islay, and Man.
